Maria Walker is responsible for the daily operations at Martin Walker Marketing, with 30 years of financial and accounting expertise.
Maria holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services, has worked with the National Australia Bank, and became a small business owner at age 26.
In 1998, Maria met her husband Martin and joined MWM, responsible for executing the accounting and administration changes required, to ensure the business became compliant with the introduction of GST in Australia in 2000.
With a passion for bookkeeping and assisting other business owners, Maria is solution orientated and capable of developing and training business owners on how to implement accounting systems necessary to comply with regulatory bodies and run efficiently.
Embracing a mindset to grow MWM’s operations, Maria has developed the financial and online systems into a paperless operation. Harnessing a continuous improvement approach to business, Maria continues to investigate ways to streamline and improve the procedures that will enable MWM to simplify processes, be cost efficient and transparent in all business dealings.
With a reliable, honest, and knowledgeable approach, Maria’s focus is to find the right people, developing existing and new relationships in new markets, and diversify, so that MWM can offer superior quality fruit to buyers, and return the best price to the growers.
